Don Gerace has been a carpenter and foreman for the last 22 years. His area of expertise is primarly that of a finish carpenter so naturally he has a long standing backround in the home improvement arena. A resident of Westchester county, born and raised, his knowledge and familiarity of the area is as vast as the region itself.

Ok so the real idea behind the idea for calling the website "The Handy Hunk" was born out of an idea my sister had. Having just found out that I had been laid off from my full time carpentry job, my sister's gears started spinning. Being faced with another home repair when the faucet broke in her kitchen sink and required muscle and expertise of a guy she really saw the much neglected need of single women who really have a need for a man who can be a Mr. Fix it. I'm sure I don't have to even tell that sometimes there just aren't male friends who are available at the drop of a hat to do some home repair work.

So the idea wasn't an arrogant, egotistical angle or approach. It was just a woman thinking how women think, having knowledge of her older brother's abilities, and seeing an untapped resource. She has the talent to create websites and think of fun marketing ideas, and I had a desire and a need to start my own business. And so, TheHandyHunk.com was born.
